At Amberholt a stay is arranged around rest: eight quiet rooms, service that anticipates the small things, and a booking you finish in two minutes.

What A Stay Should Feel Like

We keep this building calm on purpose: fewer rooms, softer light, a team that notices what you need before you ask, and a rate that reads the same everywhere.

What Makes A Night Here Different

Every stay rests on three plain things: a room that is genuinely quiet, a rate with nothing hidden inside it, and a team that answers.

Booking In Two Minutes

Check real dates, compare the rooms side by side, and confirm in about two minutes with no account to make.

Service That Remembers

Tell us once. A pillow preference, a late arrival, a birthday: the desk writes it down and then acts on it.

Rooms Built For Sleep

Triple glazing, blackout linen curtains, cotton bedding, and a corridor that goes quiet after ten at night.

Five Minutes From Everything

Walk to the market, the theatre district and the harbour. Transfers are arranged the evening before.

How The Stay Works

The details that decide a stay are small and unglamorous: who answers the phone, how the bed is made, what happens when your plans change.

Corner suite with shuttered windows and a club chair Compact double room with a walnut desk and linen curtains Turned down bed with two bronze lamps lit in the evening Dark panelled king room with brass picture lights Bright studio room with a small kitchenette and bistro table

The desk is staffed around the clock by people who live in the city, so directions and bookings come from memory instead of a binder.

Tell us how you sleep when you book: bedding, floor, the quiet side, a celebration. The room is set that way before you arrive.

Key access on every landing, a night manager on site, and corridors laid out so nobody walks past your door to reach their own.

Push an arrival, add a night, or shift the dates once at no charge on a flexible rate. One message to the desk is enough.

One thread from the first enquiry to the final receipt: the same team, the same rate, and no queue at the desk on your way out.

Rooms And Suites

Eight ways to spend the night

Eight rooms and suites, photographed as they actually look, with a flexible rate and a nightly price you can read at a glance.

What Guests Say

Three things come up in almost every note guests leave: the booking was quick, the room was quiet, and somebody remembered their name.

Booked It On The Train

I compared two rooms on my phone, picked the one facing the courtyard, and had the confirmation before my stop. Checking in took under a minute.

Actually Quiet At Midnight

I work nights and sleep days. This is the first hotel where the corridor never woke me, and the blackout curtains are the real thing.

Marcus Bell

They Remembered The Anniversary

I mentioned it once in the booking notes. A card and a cold bottle were waiting in the room, and nobody made a performance of it.

Changing Dates Was Painless

Our flight moved twice. One message each time, no fee, no lecture, and the same rate held. That is rarer than it ought to be.

Tom Whitfield

The Rate Was The Rate

What the room page quoted is what the card was charged. No fee invented at the desk and nothing surprising on the receipt.

From The Front Desk

Short pieces by the team who run the building: reading a rate honestly, when calling us beats an aggregator, and how a good arrival actually works.

Questions We Get Most

The five things the desk gets asked before a first visit, answered plainly. Anything missing, send us a message.

When can I check in and check out?
Rooms are ready from 3:00 PM and checkout is 11:00 AM. Arriving early or leaving late is usually fine: tell the desk and we keep the room open for you when it is free.
What if I need to move the dates?
A flexible rate can move or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. A saver rate costs less and is fixed, and the room page says which one you are choosing.
How do I pick between the rooms?
Every room lists the bed, the floor, the outlook and the size, with photographs taken in that exact room. Call the desk if you would rather have the honest comparison out loud.
Is breakfast included, and when is it served?
Suites include it. Any other room can add breakfast for a flat charge while you book. The kitchen opens at 6:30 AM, earlier if you tell us the night before.
Do you have parking and airport transfers?
Parking on site is limited and booked with the room. Transfers are arranged the evening before at a fixed price, so nothing has to be negotiated at the kerb.
