Company That Makes the Week Better

Loneliness can creep in quietly once driving stops or friends move away. Companion care brings a familiar visitor into the week for card games, garden walks, library trips or simply a long chat over lunch.

We match companions on shared interests whenever we can, from baseball to baking. Visits follow your parent's pace, and families get a quick note about what was enjoyed and anything worth knowing.

What We Promise

  • Companions matched on shared interests
  • Flexible weekly visit times
  • Outings at a comfortable pace
  • A short note to family after visits

What families say about companion visits

18 moof weekly visits so far
Mom looks forward to Tuesdays now. Her companion remembers every story about the garden and asks about the tomatoes first thing. On the days in between she plans what to show her.
Laura P.Client's daughter
My aunt calls her caregiver by a nickname now. It is a small thing, but it tells me she feels at home.
Grace T.Niece of a resident
I finally took a weekend away for my sister's birthday. The daily texts meant I could actually enjoy it instead of worrying. Mom had stories to tell when I got back, and so did I.

Our coordinator explained every option plainly, including what we did not need yet. That honesty is why we stayed.

Talk With Our Team

Companion care focuses on company, activities and errands. In-home care adds hands-on help such as bathing and dressing. Many families start with companionship and add more later.

Yes. Companions can drive in their own insured vehicle or ride along in yours, and they can wait during appointments and take notes if your parent would like.

We ask about interests, history and personality during the first conversation, then introduce a companion we think will click. If the match does not feel right, we change it.

Most companion visits run two to four hours, once or several times a week. Some families book a longer visit for a weekly outing.

Happily. Companions often help set up video calls with family, sort photos or learn a new tablet game together.

Light tasks such as tidying the kitchen after lunch or sorting mail are fine. Heavier housekeeping can be added through an in-home care plan.

Yes. Many families book weekend companion visits, when other relatives are busy or away.

Companions can come along to a family lunch, a grandchild's recital or a community event, to help your parent enjoy the outing.
