Helen Castellano
About Helen
Helen has supported adults living with memory loss for over a decade. She trains every caregiver who joins a memory care plan and checks in with families after the first month.
She collects vinyl records from the 1950s and 60s and brings a crate of them to the residence most Fridays.
"Familiar songs can reach someone on a day when words are hard."Helen Castellano, Memory Care Specialist
- Every visit starts with how the person is feeling today.
- Routines and preferences are written into the plan.
- Families hear about good days and harder ones.
- Questions about health go to the person's own doctor.
