Our method.

Oriel began in 2011 as two people, one camera and a borrowed drafting table above a hardware store on the north west side of Chicago. The first six projects were friends of friends, measured by hand and photographed at dusk because that was the only time everybody was free.

Fourteen years later the method has not moved: ask first, draw slowly, build once.
