About this treatment
RF microneedling combines two things. Very fine needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin, and at the tip of each needle a small pulse of radiofrequency energy warms the deeper layers. Together they prompt your skin's own repair response, which over the following weeks produces new collagen and elastin.
Many clients choose it for crepey texture, enlarged pores, acne scarring and early laxity along the jaw and neck. It suits most skin tones because the heat is delivered below the surface. Expect pinkness and a sandpaper feel for two to four days. Results build gradually and are typically assessed around three months after a series of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart.
Because the results come from your own collagen, RF microneedling rewards patience. We photograph your skin under the same light before the first session and again three months after the last, so you can compare the change fairly rather than from memory. Between sessions we keep your routine simple: a gentle cleanser, a hydrating serum and a mineral sunscreen every morning. Retinoids come back after a week. If you have active acne, a recent tan or a history of cold sores, we may adjust the timing or prescribe a short preventive course first. Many clients pair the series with medical facials for hydration in between.

How it works
Three steps, one hour.

01 · Prepare
Cleanse and numb
A gentle cleanse, then a medical numbing cream for forty-five minutes while you rest with tea and a blanket.

02 · Treat
Needles and heat
The handpiece passes over each zone in a grid. Depth and energy are adjusted for thinner skin near the eyes and thicker skin along the jaw.

03 · Recover
Calm and protect
A cooling mask and a growth-factor serum, then mineral sunscreen. Most clients drive themselves home.

Client words
“The texture on my cheeks is the smoothest it has been in ten years. It took all three sessions, which they told me up front.”

Questions
Asked at every consult.
- How many sessions will I need?
- Most clients do a series of three sessions four to six weeks apart, then one maintenance session a year. Deeper acne scarring can need four or five.
- What does it feel like?
- With numbing, most people describe warmth and a prickling sensation. Areas over bone, like the forehead, can feel more intense. We adjust depth and energy as we go.
- How much downtime is there?
- Plan for two to four days of pinkness, mild swelling and a rough texture. Most people return to work the next day with mineral makeup from 24 hours.
- Is it suitable for darker skin?
- RF microneedling is often chosen for richer skin tones because the heat sits below the surface. We still assess your skin at the consult and may recommend a test patch.
- When will I see results?
- Some glow shows within a week. Collagen changes build over three months, and we review photographs after the full series.
- Can I have it before an event?
- Plan the last session at least two weeks before an important event. Pinkness fades within a few days, but the skin keeps settling and looks most settled a little later.
