Porcelain veneers are thin, custom shells bonded to the front of your teeth to reshape colour, length and form all at once. Done well, they are the most transformative tool in cosmetic dentistry.
A veneer is essentially a fingernail-thin layer of dental porcelain, shaped and shaded by hand, then bonded to the visible surface of a tooth. Because porcelain reflects light much like natural enamel, a well-made veneer disappears into your smile rather than announcing itself.
We reach for veneers when whitening and bonding cannot get you all the way there: teeth that are permanently discoloured, noticeably worn, chipped, slightly crooked or spaced with gaps. In one carefully planned case, several of those issues can be resolved together.
Minimal-prep, maximum care
Modern veneers usually require only a small amount of enamel to be smoothed so the porcelain sits flush. In some cases almost no reduction is needed at all. We are conservative by philosophy: we remove as little natural tooth as the result allows, because your enamel is worth protecting.
- Custom shade matched to your face, not a generic bright white
- Hand-finished edges and translucency for a natural look
- Digital preview so you approve the shape before we begin
- Temporary veneers to wear while your finals are crafted
How long they last
With good home care and regular checkups, quality porcelain veneers commonly last ten to fifteen years or more before they need refreshing. They resist staining better than natural enamel, though we still recommend easing up on the daily red wine and espresso where you can.
Every veneer case at Bloom is designed and bonded by Dr. Nadia Okafor, so the artistry stays consistent from the first tooth to the last.

The porcelain matches my other teeth so well that even my dentist friend could not spot them.
