Clear Aligners
Nearly invisible aligner trays that straighten your smile on your own schedule.
A clear aligners plan built around your face
Clear Aligners at Lumina is designed, not dispensed. We plan the result to your features and the smile you already have, so the work reads as a quiet improvement rather than an obvious intervention.
Dr. Camille Reyes carries the case from the first preview to the final polish, so the standard holds throughout and you always know exactly what to expect at reveal.

A result you recognize as yours
We finish for real life and real light, so the smile you love the day it is placed still reads beautifully years later. That is the whole point of designing it around you.
See membershipWhat the months actually look like
Aligners are less dramatic and more routine than people expect. Almost all of the work happens quietly, at home, while you get on with things.
Scan and plan
A digital scan replaces the old putty trays. We map the movement tooth by tooth and show you the projected finish before you commit to a single aligner.
The first fortnight
Trays are worn 20 to 22 hours a day and swapped on a set rhythm. The first few days of each new tray feel tight; that pressure is the whole mechanism working.
Check-ins that stay short
We see you briefly every six to eight weeks to confirm the teeth are tracking the plan. Most of these visits are ten minutes and end with the next few trays in a bag.
Retention, which is not optional
Teeth drift back for years if nothing holds them. A retainer at night, indefinitely, is the price of keeping the result, and we say so before you start rather than after.
When alignment should come before cosmetics
A crowded tooth that is also dark is two problems, and treating the second one first usually costs more porcelain than it needs to.
| What is bothering you | Aligners first | Straight to cosmetic |
|---|---|---|
| A crowded or rotated front tooth | Yes, move it into line first | Only if you decline aligners |
| Shade alone, teeth already straight | Not needed | Yes, whitening or veneers |
| A small gap you dislike | Often the tidiest fix | Bonding, if you want it done now |
| Edges chipped but teeth in line | Not needed | Yes, bonding or veneers |
Illustrative guidance for a demo practice. Your bite is assessed properly at the consult before any of this is decided.
Questions about clear aligners
The things people actually ask us at the consult, answered plainly. If yours is not here, the book page is the fastest way to reach the studio.
Very rarely, at conversational distance. What people do notice is you taking them out to eat, so the trays are less of a giveaway than the routine around them.
Simple crowding at the front is often four to eight months; a fuller correction runs a year or more. We give you a projected range at the scan rather than a hopeful number.
The plan slips. Twenty hours a day is the honest floor, and we would rather rebuild your schedule around that than pretend an occasional day off costs nothing.
Yes, and the trays make it convenient. We usually save the whitening for the final stretch so the shade lands right as the teeth finish moving.
