Careful repairs, explained plainly
Julian came to dentistry sideways. He spent his school holidays as a carpenter's apprentice, and the habits stayed with him: measure twice, keep what is sound, and make a repair that will still be working in twenty years. He joined Marigold in 2018 to lead the restorative and preventive side of the studio.
Patients know him for honest checkups. If a small shadow on an x-ray can be watched rather than drilled, he will show you the image and tell you so. When work is needed, he favours bonding and tooth-coloured repairs that keep as much natural tooth as possible.
He is often the first dentist a new patient meets. He runs the welcome visit at a steady pace, explains each finding with photos on the screen beside the chair, and writes the plan down so you can take it home and think it over. Nervous patients tend to ask for him again.
Away from the studio he coaches his daughter's under-tens football team, restores old bicycles in a garage that is now mostly bicycles, and cooks a long Sunday lunch for whoever turns up.

Show you what I see
Every finding comes with a photo or an x-ray on the screen. You should never have to take my word for something you cannot see for yourself.
Keep what is sound
The strongest tooth is the one you already have. I repair the smallest area that will do the job, and I tell you when watching is wiser than treating.
Plan for the long run
A repair should hold up for years. I explain how to protect the work, and we check it at every recall so small wear never turns into a large repair.
