Sun spots
Brown marks from years of sun on the face, chest and hands.

Linden Aesthetics
IPL stands for intense pulsed light. Instead of one laser wavelength, a filtered flash of broad-spectrum light passes into the skin, where brown pigment from sun exposure and the red of small visible vessels absorb it. That energy breaks up surface pigment and calms redness, so tone looks more even over the following weeks.
It is a strong choice for sun spots on the face, chest and hands, for general flushing, and for the blotchy look Colorado sun can leave behind. It is most suited to lighter skin tones and is not a fit for everyone, so every plan starts with a consultation and a test spot.

IPL is most suited to lighter skin with a clear contrast between the skin and the pigment being treated. Deeper skin tones can be at higher risk of pigment change, so we may suggest a different treatment after your consultation.
Most clients plan three to five sessions about four weeks apart. Some see a clear difference after one, and results vary with the amount of sun damage.
No. A recent tan or self-tanner raises the risk of a reaction, so we ask you to avoid both for four weeks before each session.
Most people have pink skin for a day and darker specks that flake off over a week. Makeup is fine the next day, and daily sunscreen is essential between sessions.
Fall through spring suits most Denver clients, since strict sun avoidance is easier. We can still treat in summer with careful planning and sunscreen.
