A medical facial follows the same calm rhythm as a spa facial, but every step is chosen for a clinical reason. Your aesthetician assesses the skin under magnification, then selects cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masks and serums for what they see that day rather than following a fixed menu.
Because it happens in a clinic, a medical facial can include professional-strength exfoliants, light peels, LED light and targeted serums that are not used in spa settings. It is a good monthly foundation on its own and a smart way to prepare the skin before a peel, IPL or RF microneedling series.
