Inside RF microneedling
RF microneedling combines two proven ideas. Very fine needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin, and at a set depth they release radiofrequency energy that gently heats the deeper layers. The skin responds to both by rebuilding collagen and elastin, the proteins behind firmness and bounce, over the weeks that follow.
Because the depth and energy can be adjusted pass by pass, one session can treat thin skin under the eyes differently from thicker skin along the jaw. It is a good fit for texture, enlarged pores, acne scarring and early laxity, and it suits most skin tones when it is set up carefully.
Your provider maps the face into zones before the first pass, marking which areas need shallow settings and which can take deeper energy. Those settings are logged, so the second and third sessions build on the first instead of starting over.

Questions about RF microneedling
With numbing, most clients describe warmth and a light prickling that is stronger over bony areas. We can adjust settings during the session if an area feels too intense.
Three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is the most common plan. Deeper scarring or laxity can take more, and a maintenance session once a year helps many clients.
Expect two to four days of redness and some small grid marks. Most people return to work the next day with mineral makeup allowed after twenty-four hours.
Some glow shows in the first week, but collagen takes time. Many clients notice firmer, smoother skin from about week four, with changes continuing for months. Results vary.
