Before you call

Common client questions

Straight answers about how we work. If your question is not here, send it and an attorney will reply.

We listen to what happened, ask for any documents you have, and explain the options and deadlines that apply. You leave with a plain summary of next steps, whether or not you hire us.

Each matter is assigned to the attorney whose practice fits it, and you receive that attorney's direct line and email at the start of the engagement.

Bring any letters, contracts, photos, court papers or insurance documents, plus a short timeline of events. If you are unsure, bring it anyway.

Depending on the matter we use flat fees, hourly billing, monthly plans or contingency fees. Every fee arrangement is explained and signed in writing before work begins.

We represent clients across Central Ohio and appear in courts throughout the state. For matters governed by another state's law, we coordinate with local counsel.

We aim to return calls and messages within one business day. Urgent court deadlines are flagged and handled first.

Communications made to seek legal advice are generally confidential, even before you hire us. Avoid sending sensitive details through social media messages.

Yes. You can end the relationship at any time. We help coordinate the file transfer and explain any court steps involved.
