About Nadia Ferrante

Before law school Nadia worked in marketing for a regional apparel brand, where she saw how quickly an unregistered name can turn into a costly rebrand. She now helps founders run clearance searches before launch rather than after a cease and desist letter.

Her work spans federal trademark filings, copyright registrations, licensing agreements and takedown requests. She writes plain-language brand guidelines so marketing teams know how to use the marks the company has worked to protect.

Experience & Education

Nadia holds a law degree and a bachelor of arts in communications. She joined the firm in 2012 and became a partner in 2019. She is licensed in North Carolina.

How Nadia Builds a Brand Plan

Nadia starts every trademark engagement with a one-page map of what the company sells, where it sells it and what it plans to launch next. That map drives which names to clear, which classes to file in and which filings can wait until the business grows into them.
