Stonegate Asphalt Co. started with one truck, a squeegee crew of two and a simple rule: never put down a coat we would not want on our own house. That rule is still the reason we lose the occasional bid and keep the customer anyway.
We watched too many homeowners pay for a thin diluted coat sprayed over a dirty surface, then pay again two summers later. So we published what we use, how many coats you get and what the prep includes, and we let the comparison speak.

Fourteen seasons under the same ownership, all of it in this county. The owner still runs the first estimate on every job and is on site for every tear out and pave.
The company holds a state home improvement contractor registration and carries general liability plus workers compensation. Current certificates go out with every proposal, and you are welcome to ask for them before we start.
Our own crew. We do not broker driveways out to a rotating list of subcontractors, so the people who quoted the work are the people who complete it and the people who come back if something needs attention.
Material and prep, almost always. A low number usually means one thin diluted coat over a surface that was never cleaned. We publish what product we use, how many coats you get, and what the prep includes so the comparison is fair.
Every job carries a written workmanship warranty, two years on sealcoating and five on new asphalt. If an area fails inside that window we come back and correct it at no charge.
