Support for daily routines, with independence kept intact

Assisted living at Bramblewood is for people who are still very much themselves but would like a steady hand with the parts of the day that have become tiring. Before move-in, our nurse sits down with your family to learn routines, preferences and the small details that make someone feel at ease, then writes a care plan we revisit every quarter or whenever needs change.

Moving in, step by step

Most families spend two to four weeks between a first tour and move-in day. After the nursing assessment, we hold a short planning meeting to agree on the care plan, the suite and a date. Our move coordinator can recommend local movers, help decide which furniture will fit and arrange for phone, television and internet to be working when your parent arrives.

The first month is about settling in. A member of our life enrichment team introduces each new resident to a few neighbors with shared interests, and the care partner on their hallway checks in several times a day. At the thirty-day mark we sit down with your family again to adjust anything that is not quite right yet, from the time of morning help to the seat at lunch.

Pricing for assisted living depends on the suite and the level of support. We share every figure in writing before anything is signed, and our team is happy to walk you through the payment options families commonly use.

Questions

Questions about assisted living

Short, honest answers to what families ask us most often about this kind of support.

How is the level of support decided?

Our nurse completes a friendly assessment before move-in and again every quarter. The plan, and the monthly rate, follow what your parent actually needs, and we talk with you before anything changes.

Can my mother bring her own furniture?

Yes, and we encourage it. Suites come unfurnished or lightly furnished, and our maintenance team will hang pictures and shelves on move-in day.

Who handles prescriptions?

Licensed staff manage medication reminders and work with your parent's own physicians and pharmacy, so nothing about their existing care team has to change.

Is there staff overnight?

Yes. Bramblewood has 24-hour staff on site, and every suite has a call pendant that reaches a care partner directly.

Why assisted living here

Help when it is wanted, freedom when it is not

Residents choose their own pace. Care partners step in for the hard parts and step back for everything else.

Care partners assigned to the same hallway so faces stay familiar week to week

Consistency builds trust, and trust makes help with bathing or dressing feel natural instead of awkward.

A family update call whenever something changes, whether the news is big or small

Our nurse calls, emails or texts, whichever you prefer, and quarterly care conferences can happen by video.
