FENWICK® Free Consult

Our firm

Two colleagues reviewing a document together at a table

The counsel we went looking for and never found.

Fenwick and Lowe began with one stubborn idea: a company of any size deserves counsel that is straight with them, easy to reach, and actually tied to the result. Too many owners were signing things nobody had explained, not because they did not care but because the profession had made the whole business feel out of reach.

So we built the practice we would have wanted to call. Today we act for first hires, growing groups and established mid market firms across a spread of sectors, giving each of them the same plain, unhurried answer to whatever landed on the desk that morning.

Our standards

What the work is built on

Clarity before anything

We take the complexity out and hand back guidance you can act on the same day.

Invested in the outcome

Success is measured by what you walk away holding, not by hours recorded.

Here for the long stretch

The aim is to be the number you dial first, good news or awkward news.

Honest from hour one

You get told what you need to hear, which is not always what is easy to hear.

No needless complexity

Matters stay simple, structured and moving, with no theatre along the way.

A team that knows you

We learn how you trade so the advice fits the company you actually run.

Most matters run on a fixed fee agreed in writing before work starts. Where a matter is open ended we set out a clear estimate first, so the budget holds no surprise.

Our clients run from first hires through to established mid market groups. The common thread is that they sign agreements often enough to want them handled properly.

For most matters we can open a file within two business days of the first call. Urgent deal work is triaged the same day wherever our calendar allows.

Yes. We regularly advise companies trading in several states and coordinate local counsel where a filing has to be made somewhere we are not admitted.

Many clients keep us on a monthly retainer as their outside counsel, which gives them a named lawyer to call rather than a queue to join.

We handle the legal side of trading: the agreements you sign, the way the company is structured and governed, the data rules you sit under, and the disagreements that occasionally follow.
