Commercial Deal Terms

Agreements that hold your position and keep the deal moving.

The work itself

Every trading relationship you hold is defined by a document somebody put their name to. Our work covers the writing, the reading and the arguing over commercial paperwork in a wide spread of sectors, done at pace, phrased in ordinary sentences, and aimed squarely at what the company cares about. Good paperwork is more than a shield for the bad day. It settles what each side owes at the outset and clears out the vagueness that most arguments grow from.

Who this suits

Companies that put their name to paperwork often enough to want it handled properly, and would rather the wording pulled in their direction than simply sat in a drawer. A customer agreement that needs reading first, a fresh set of supplier terms, or a hand on a transaction that has grown thorny: all of it lands here.

Problems we tend to fix

  • Scope written so loosely that both sides argue over what was promised
  • Renewal clauses that quietly bind a company to another year of spend
  • Terms written entirely from the other side of the table’s playbook
  • No clean way out once an arrangement has stopped working

How it runs

The first conversation covers what the paperwork has to achieve for you and which risks would genuinely sting. After that the wording gets written or read line by line, every concern is raised in ordinary language, and you receive a short note of exactly what you would be taking on. If somebody has to argue the point with the other side, we do that too, so the transaction does not stall in a queue of tracked changes.

What it costs

Reading and writing work is quoted as one price, settled in writing before anything starts. Longer stretches of back and forth carry a written estimate at the outset, so the budget is known early and the closing invoice holds nothing you did not expect.
