Priya Raman

Priya advises startups and family businesses on formation, contracts and ownership planning. Before law school she worked in operations at a Denver software company. She helped build the systems that took that software company from twelve people to more than two hundred.

That background shapes her approach. She drafts documents the team will actually read and use, and she explains legal tradeoffs in business terms. Founders often tell her it is the first time a lawyer has explained vesting and voting rights without jargon. Her first question to any founder is how the company plans to make money in the next eighteen months.

Her work covers entity selection, operating agreements, founder vesting, customer terms and early investor paperwork for companies across the Front Range. She keeps a library of clear templates so small teams can handle routine contracts themselves and call her only when something unusual appears.

Priya often coordinates with accountants and bankers so the legal structure supports the tax plan and the financing that comes next. When a company raises its first outside money, she walks the founders through every investor right before anyone signs.

She mentors participants in a local accelerator program and enjoys long trail runs in the foothills on weekends. She is also learning Spanish and volunteers at a small business help desk in Westwood.
