Tobias handles commercial agreements and business litigation. He spent his early career at a regional firm representing manufacturers and distributors. Much of that early work involved supply chain disputes that crossed several states and industries.

He approaches every contract by asking how it could fail, then drafts the terms that would matter most if that day ever came. Clients appreciate that his redlines come with short notes explaining why each change matters. He believes most business disputes are cheaper to prevent than to win, and he drafts with that in mind.

His dispute work includes partnership breakups, vendor claims and non-compete questions, often resolved through negotiation or arbitration. He evaluates the cost of a dispute early, so owners can decide whether a fight is worth having before spending heavily on it.

Tobias keeps clients informed with short weekly notes during active matters, so leadership can plan around the case instead of reacting to it. He also prepares short briefing notes for boards and investors when a dispute affects them. When litigation is necessary, he builds a clear budget and revisits it with leadership every month.

He is a lifelong cyclist and helps organize a charity ride along the Cherry Creek Trail each summer. He also mentors law students through a regional bar association program each year.
