Fewer razors, a planned calendar

Laser hair reduction for most skin tones

Laser hair removal uses light energy absorbed by the pigment in the hair root to heat and disable the follicle. Because hair grows in cycles, only some follicles are in the right phase at each visit, which is why results build over a series of sessions spaced weeks apart.

Scheduling matters as much as settings. At your first visit we test a small patch, agree the areas, and book the whole series around your calendar, including the months when you should avoid sun on the treated skin. Many clients notice significantly less regrowth after six to eight sessions.

Because hair growth is cyclical, missed or delayed sessions slow progress, so we book the full series at your first appointment and send reminders before each visit. Fine, very light or grey hair responds poorly to laser because there is little pigment for the light to find; we will tell you honestly at the test patch if that applies to you, and suggest alternatives if it does.

Sessions themselves are short. Small areas like the upper lip or underarms take about fifteen minutes, and most clients return to work the same day. Mild redness and small bumps around the follicles are common for a few hours and usually settle by the next morning. Over the following two weeks some treated hairs shed; please let them fall out naturally rather than plucking, and keep shaving between sessions as needed.

Laser Hair Removal FAQs

Does laser hair removal work on dark skin?

Yes, with the right device settings and a cautious test first. Our laser lead adjusts energy for every skin tone.

Will the hair be gone for good?

Laser hair removal gives long-term reduction, not complete removal. Most people keep some fine regrowth and book occasional touch-ups.

Does it hurt?

Most clients feel a quick snap and warmth. Cooling is used throughout and we can pause at any time.

Can I tan between sessions?

Please avoid it. Tanned skin raises the risk of burns and pigment changes, and we will need to postpone. If you do get sun, tell us before your visit and we will move the session by a few weeks and adjust the plan.
