Team Profile
A closer look at the nurse or aesthetician who may plan your treatment, and how they like to work.

Camille Ashford
Camille is a certified family nurse practitioner who moved into aesthetic medicine after years in primary care. She built Vellum around the habits she learned there: a real history before any needle, conservative first doses, and a follow-up visit that is actually on the calendar.
As medical director she writes the clinic protocols, reviews every new client plan the nurses prepare, and personally sees anyone with a complicated medical history or a concern about a previous treatment from somewhere else.
Focus areas:
- Wrinkle relaxer and filler planning
- Complication review and correction plans
- Medical history and medication screening
- Protocol writing and staff training
Training and background:
- Nurse practitioner, family practice
- Advanced injector training (neuromodulators and fillers)
- Laser safety officer certificate
- Current basic and advanced life support
Ongoing Learning
Camille spends two weekends a year in hands-on cadaver anatomy courses and runs a monthly case review with the nursing team.
In the treatment room
- Photographs every face in the same light before and after
- Books the two-week check before the client leaves
- Keeps first appointments at a full hour

Kind words from our clients

“I was nervous about looking frozen. Brynn used less than I expected, booked me back two weeks later, and my sister only noticed that I looked rested. That was exactly what I wanted.”

“Danielle tested a small patch first and walked me through the whole calendar for my laser series. The clinic runs on time, and nobody tried to sell me a package I did not need.”

“Vellum felt more like a calm doctor’s office than a salon. My plan was written down, my follow-up was booked, and my skin looks like mine, only brighter.”

How Camille Plans a Visit
01
Listen First
Every appointment starts with your goals and your history, not with a product.
02
Plan in Writing
Doses, spacing and costs are written down before anything begins.
03
Follow Up
A scheduled check makes sure the result is the one you wanted.
