Care that keeps small things small
Unhurried checkups, gentle cleanings, and tooth-colored fillings. The quiet work that keeps expensive surprises from ever arriving.
Book a visitPrevention is the cheapest dentistry there is
Most of what goes wrong in a mouth is small, quiet, and inexpensive to fix, right up until it is not. Good preventive care catches things while they are still small and quiet. That is the whole point of coming in.
How we approach it
- A hygienist who is never rushed clears what home brushing cannot reach and measures the health of your gums tooth by tooth.
- Dr. Sorensen reviews your digital x-rays with you on the screen, so you see exactly what we see before anything is decided.
- Nobody here works on commission, so the only care we suggest is care we would want in our own mouths.
What preventive & general includes
- Cleanings and exams that are never rushed
- Mercury-free, tooth-colored fillings
- Digital x-rays shown to you on the screen
- A recall rhythm set around your own mouth
What an hour with us covers
Our hygienist leads the visit, and she is not fast. She clears the plaque and hardened tartar that home brushing cannot reach, polishes away the stains coffee and red wine leave behind, and measures the health of your gums tooth by tooth. Then Dr. Sorensen reviews your digital x-rays with you on the screen, checks every tooth and old filling, and does a quick oral-cancer screening.
If everything looks healthy, we tell you so and send you back into your day. If something needs attention, you see exactly what we see, hear the options in plain words, and get honest guidance on what is urgent, what can wait, and what it will cost. Nobody here works on commission, so the only care we recommend is care you actually need.
Why the rhythm matters more than the rule
Twice a year is a fine starting point, not a law. If your gums are healthy and your risk is low, we may leave you on a six-month rhythm for years. If you have a history of gum trouble, we may suggest a three or four month interval, because the bacteria that drive it return within about ninety days of a cleaning. We set your recall around your own mouth and book the next visit before you leave, so it never quietly slips off the calendar.
A recall that lives on our schedule instead of your to-do list is the single most reliable predictor of a mouth that stays out of trouble. It costs you ninety seconds at the front desk on the way out, and it is the closest thing to free dentistry we know of.
