Our Practice

A Dentist For People Who Hate The Dentist

Dr. Adrienne Marsh built Stillwater Sedation Dental on one belief: that fear is a reason to be treated more gently, not less. Roughly one in three adults dreads the chair, and almost all of them have a story. We slow everything down, offer real sedation, and never rush the person in front of us.

How It Works

Three Unhurried Steps Back

Tell Us You're Nervous01

Tell Us You're Nervous

Call or book a talk-only first visit. No chair, no instruments, just a conversation about what you dread and what you need.

Choose Your Comfort02

Choose Your Comfort

Together we pick the right level of calm for you, from a weighted blanket and headphones to nitrous or full oral sedation.

Wake Up Caught Up03

Wake Up Caught Up

We work gently and efficiently, then you rest while it fades. Many patients finish years of avoided care in one or two easy mornings.

A Patient Story

The Visit She Put Off For Nine Years

Rosaline had not sat in a dental chair since a bad experience in her twenties. She booked a talk-only first visit, chose oral sedation for the treatment she needed, and finished the whole plan over two calm mornings. Now she comes in for cleanings without a second thought.

Hear it in her words, then imagine your own version of that relief.

“I hadn't been to a dentist in eleven years out of pure fear. They let my first visit be nothing but talking. I chose oral sedation, and I genuinely do not remember the appointment. It changed my whole relationship with this.”

“The weighted blanket, the headphones, the way they narrated every step before it happened. I have panic attacks in medical settings and I did not have one here. That has never happened to me before.”

“I brought my mom in for a full-mouth restoration she was terrified of. Two calm mornings under IV sedation and it was done. She cried in the parking lot, but the good kind. Thank you does not cover it.”

“No lecture about the years I stayed away, no judgment, no rush. Dr. Marsh explained everything on the screen and told me the cost before touching anything. I finally trust a dentist.”

“The membership made my cleanings affordable again after I lost my insurance, and the sedation discount meant I could finally handle the crown I'd been avoiding. It just made sense.”

Good Questions

The Things Nervous Patients Ask First

The questions we hear most, answered plainly. If yours is not here, a two-minute call usually is.

Yes, when it is done carefully. Every sedation patient is screened, monitored, and looked after by a trained team for the entire visit. We start with the lightest option that will keep you comfortable, and we walk you through exactly what to expect before anything begins.
It depends on the option you choose. Nitrous keeps you awake but deeply relaxed, oral sedation leaves most people drowsy and forgetful of the visit, and IV sedation brings you to the edge of sleep. You are never put fully under here. We match the level to your anxiety and the treatment.
Absolutely, and for many of our patients it is. You can stay in your street clothes, sit upright, and tell us the whole story before any chair reclines. We honor a raised hand that stops everything instantly, every single time.
