Come in

Slow food, low light, a deep cellar. Dinner in the old grain house.

A dining room built for long evenings

Six tables, one grill, and nobody hurrying you out

Sorrel is

A kitchen in the old grain house

A cook plating greens with tweezers at the pass

About the room

The grain house held barley for eighty years before it held tables. We kept the hoist beam, the stone floor and the small windows, then added forty two chairs and a very long bar.

A bowl passed across a table lit by candles and string lights

The card changes with what the gardens send up. Two mains are always meat free and the bread is baked in the same oven as everything else.
