A drip under the sink rarely stays small. Water finds its way into cabinet floors, subfloors and drywall, and by the time a stain shows up the repair has doubled in size. Our plumbing repair visits target the everyday problems that do not need a full plumbing contractor but still deserve someone who knows what they are looking at.
Your Hollis technician arrives with common valves, supply lines, wax rings and cartridges on the van, so most fixes happen in a single visit. If we find something bigger, such as a failing main line or a water heater at the end of its life, we tell you plainly and point you to the right licensed specialist.
Clear the cabinet under the sink or the space around the toilet so we can reach the valves. Find your main water shutoff if you never have, and we will show you how it works while we are there. If the fixture is a specific brand, a photo of the label or the old cartridge saves time. We will need the water off for part of the visit, so plan showers and laundry around it.
Book online or call the office. A photo of the problem and the model number, if you have one, helps us load the right parts.
We trace the water to its source, check nearby joints and valves, and explain what failed in plain language.
You get a written quote on the spot. Nothing starts until you say yes, and the price does not change mid-job.
We make the repair, run the water, check for drips once pressure builds, and wipe down the work area before we leave.
Plumbing calls are where cheap fixes cost the most. Here is what comes with every Hollis visit.
Standard cartridges, supply lines and wax rings ride along, so a return trip is the exception.
Drop cloths, towels and a shop vac come in with us. Your cabinet goes back the way we found it.
If a repair will not last, we say so and quote the fix that will.
Most single-fixture repairs land between $129 and $240. Drain clearing and valve replacements are quoted after a quick look, and the quote you approve is the price you pay.
Compare visit plansWe keep same-day slots for active leaks on weekdays. If water is spreading, close the valve under the fixture or the main shutoff first, then call the office and we will get someone to you as fast as the schedule allows.
Our technicians handle fixture-level repairs that a handyman can legally perform in North Carolina. Work that needs a plumbing permit, such as moving lines or replacing a water heater, goes to a licensed plumbing partner we trust.
Yes. Have it on site before the visit and we will check that the box includes every part. Customer-supplied fixtures carry our labor warranty, and the manufacturer covers the product.
Most faucet, toilet and drain visits take one to two hours, including testing and cleanup. Longer lists are booked as a half-day or full-day block.
We stop, show you what we found and explain your options before doing anything else. You are never charged for work you did not approve.
A small leak is the cheapest leak you will ever have. Book a visit this week and we will find it, fix it and leave your cabinet dry.
Hollis technicians cover Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Garner, Morrisville and Wake Forest from our office on Oakridge Commons. Weekday visits run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday mornings are open for smaller jobs, and every booking gets a two-hour arrival window plus a text when we are on the way.
