Urgent Care
Same-day sick visits during open hours for the worries that cannot wait until next week, with honest guidance after hours.

Urgent Care
Vomiting overnight, a sudden limp, an ear that will not stop itching or a cat who has not eaten since yesterday: these are the calls we hear every day. We hold same-day appointments for sick pets during our open hours, and our team triages every call so the most urgent cases are seen first.
If we are closed, our after-hours phone line plays a short message with the address and number of the nearest emergency hospital, and we send them your pet's records the next morning if you ask. When your pet is back with us, we pick up the care plan from there.

Who it is for
Same-day sick visits are for pets who need to be seen soon but are stable enough to come to a general practice: stomach upsets, limping, ear and skin flare-ups, eye irritation, coughing, urinary changes and small wounds. We hold appointments for these every weekday and on Saturday mornings.
Some situations need an emergency hospital instead, especially after hours. If your pet cannot stand, is struggling to breathe, has a swollen belly or has eaten something toxic, go straight to the nearest emergency hospital; we will share records and pick up follow-up care once your pet is home.
What is included
- Same-day sick appointments held every weekday
- Phone triage by trained staff during open hours
- In-house lab and X-ray for faster answers
- After-hours line that directs you to the nearest emergency hospital
If your pet is struggling to breathe, has collapsed, has eaten something toxic or is bleeding heavily, do not wait for a slot: call us right away during open hours, or go straight to an emergency hospital after hours.

Good to know
Not every worry needs a visit today. Our team will help you decide whether to come in now, book tomorrow or keep watch at home, and we will tell you the signs that mean you should call back.
From our doctors
Sick visits can be stressful, so our team keeps things simple. We ask a few questions on the phone, give you a time to arrive and let you know if anything should be brought along, such as a photo, a sample or the packaging of something your pet may have eaten. After the visit you receive written instructions, and a team member checks in the next day.
Pricing facts: Same-day sick exams start at $85, with tests estimated before we begin.
