Choosing Dermal Filler for Results That Still Look Like You
Short answer: Natural-looking filler starts with restoring what has changed rather than adding what was never there. That usually means small amounts placed for structure, a second visit to refine, and a clear stopping point agreed before the first syringe is opened.
What we assess first
We look at your face at rest, talking and smiling, and from the side. Many concerns people bring in, such as tired eyes or a heavier lower face, are driven by support changes in the cheeks or temples. Treating the cause is usually subtler than treating the spot.

Signs a plan is heading somewhere unnatural
- Volume added only where you pointed, without looking at the whole face
- Several syringes in one area on a first visit
- No plan for a follow-up or for dissolving if needed
- No discussion of your features at rest and in motion

Step by step
- Consultation with photographs in consistent light
- Mapping at rest and in expression
- Conservative first placement
- Review and refine at two weeks

Questions we hear
Can filler be reversed?
Hyaluronic acid filler can usually be dissolved with an enzyme. We assess carefully before dissolving anything.
Is there swelling?
Some swelling and possible bruising for a few days is common, especially in the lips. It settles over about two weeks.
