How Long Do Wrinkle Relaxers Last, and What Changes the Timeline?
Short answer: For most people, wrinkle relaxer results last about three to four months, with the first softening showing at day three to five and the full effect settling by day fourteen. How long yours last depends on the muscle, the dose and your own metabolism, so the most useful timeline is the one you track with your injector.
Why the effect wears off
A neuromodulator quiets the signal between a nerve and a small facial muscle. Over the following months the nerve grows new connections, the muscle slowly regains movement, and lines return gradually rather than overnight. That gradual return is normal and is the reason we book a check instead of guessing.

What tends to shorten or lengthen results
- Stronger muscles, such as a deep frown, often need a slightly higher dose to last
- Very active expressions and heavy exercise schedules can shorten the timeline a little
- Consistent treatment every few months can mean some clients need less over time
- Starting doses are conservative, so a first result may feel shorter than later ones

Step by step
- Treatment day: small amounts placed after mapping your movement
- Day three to five: first softening appears
- Day fourteen: two-week check, small top-up if needed
- Month three to four: book your next visit as movement returns
