A neighborhood practice, fourteen years in the chair

We built Alder & Oak Dental to be the dentist we wished we had as patients: small, gentle, and honest about what will and will not help. The dentist who greets you is the one in the room, and the hygienist who knows your kids' names is the one you see next time.
Start with usSince we opened, the practice has kept one habit above the rest: be gentle, be honest, and never work on commission. It is why so many of our fictional demo families stay for years, and why word of mouth still brings us most of our new patients.
How we grew, one gentle step at a time
Two chairs on Linden Way
Dr. Hartley opened Alder & Oak with a single hygienist and one stubborn idea: run the practice slow enough to actually know people.
The membership plan began
So many neighbors had lost dental coverage that we built our own in-house plan, priced flat and honest, no insurance company in the middle.
A family wing
We added two rooms and a second dentist so kids, parents, and grandparents could all be seen under one roof on the same afternoon.
Three thousand neighbors
We crossed three thousand active patients while keeping the same small team and the same unrushed way of working.

Care that earns the drive across town
Genuinely gentle
Slow numbing, a stop signal we mean, and calming options for any visit. Comfort is a method here, not a slogan.
Plain language
You see your own x-rays and hear the options in words that make sense. You always know what is urgent and what it costs.
Honest money
No commission, clear prices before we start, and an in-house plan for the uninsured. Money talk happens before treatment, never after.
One practice for all
Toddlers, teenagers, parents, and grandparents, all seen by the same familiar team in the same calm rooms.
