Daniel spent the first five years of his career on the other side of the table, defending insurers in injury cases. That experience taught him how claims are valued, where adjusters look for weak spots and why some files settle fairly while others stall for years.
He opened Bexley & Thorne to put that knowledge to work for injured people instead. His clients include warehouse workers, teachers, nurses and families who lost a parent in a preventable crash.
Daniel believes the best client relationships are built on plain talk. He tells clients what he thinks their case is worth early, explains every offer in writing, and prepares each file as though a jury will hear it.
Daniel has handled claims involving commercial trucks, construction site falls and multi-vehicle collisions on the I-5 corridor. He regularly works with accident reconstruction engineers, vocational experts and treating physicians to document the full cost of an injury.
He has tried cases in Pierce and King County Superior Courts and has argued motions in the Washington Court of Appeals.
Outside the office, Daniel coaches youth soccer on Tacoma's east side and volunteers at free legal clinics hosted by local community groups. He lives in the North End with his family and a very patient dog.
