About the role

You will manage trademark clearance, prosecution and portfolio calendars, and draft brand and content licensing agreements. Much of the work is with early-stage consumer and software companies in the Boulder area. Expect a mix of clearance opinions, office action responses and license negotiations, with most of your meetings held in the Boulder office or by video.

What you bring

You will guide early-stage founders through protecting their brand, often before they have a product on the shelf, and keep their portfolio calendar accurate as they grow.

  • One to four years of trademark prosecution experience.
  • Admission to any U.S. state bar, with Colorado admission preferred.
  • Familiarity with USPTO procedures and docketing.
  • Clear writing for both examiners and clients.

The salary range is $100,000 to $125,000 with benefits and a hybrid schedule based in the Boulder office. To apply, send a resume and a short note to careers@brandtlegal.example; every application is read by the hiring lead.
