You will manage trademark clearance, prosecution and portfolio calendars, and draft brand and content licensing agreements. Much of the work is with early-stage consumer and software companies in the Boulder area. Expect a mix of clearance opinions, office action responses and license negotiations, with most of your meetings held in the Boulder office or by video.
What you bring
You will guide early-stage founders through protecting their brand, often before they have a product on the shelf, and keep their portfolio calendar accurate as they grow.
- One to four years of trademark prosecution experience.
- Admission to any U.S. state bar, with Colorado admission preferred.
- Familiarity with USPTO procedures and docketing.
- Clear writing for both examiners and clients.
