Apply by emailAbout the role
This of counsel role focuses on planning and documentation. You will review entity elections, owner compensation and transaction structure, and prepare memos that client accountants can rely on. Engagements are scoped in advance and usually run a few weeks, which makes the role workable alongside an existing practice or a flexible schedule.
What you bring
The work is planning rather than preparation: reviewing structure before it is locked in and writing memos that give accountants a clear record at filing time.
- LL.M. in Taxation or equivalent experience.
- Eight or more years of business tax planning.
- Colorado bar admission in good standing.
- Collaborative approach with outside CPAs.
Compensation is set per engagement. This role suits an attorney with an established practice or a flexible schedule. To apply, send a resume and a short note to careers@brandtlegal.example; every application is read by the hiring lead.
