Teeth whitening

Brighter, to a shade that suits you

Professional whitening lifts years of coffee, wine, and time in a way home strips cannot, but the art is in restraint. We brighten to a shade that reads as health and suits your face, never to the harshest setting on the shelf.

  • In-studio and custom take-home options
  • Controlled to a shade that suits your face
  • Gentler on sensitive teeth than strip kits
  • Often paired with a smile-design consult

Teeth whitening at Noir Dental Studio

In the studio, or at home

An in-studio session lifts the shade in a single controlled visit, ideal before an event. Custom take-home trays, moulded to your teeth, let you brighten gradually at your own pace with professional gel. Both go further than anything sold at a pharmacy, and both are managed so sensitivity stays comfortable rather than sharp.

Whitening only affects natural enamel, not existing crowns, veneers, or bonding. If your smile mixes natural teeth and older restorations, we plan the sequence together so everything finishes at a shade that matches, which is a common reason to whiten as the first step of a larger cosmetic plan.

Restraint is the technique

It is easy to whiten teeth. It is harder to whiten them to a shade that still looks like teeth. We aim for the point where your smile simply looks rested and healthy, and where nobody can quite name what changed. That is a deliberate choice, and for most faces it is far more flattering than the brightest possible white.

Questions
about
this care

Some sensitivity is common for a day or two, and it is temporary. We use desensitising gel, adjust the strength and the wear time to your teeth, and pace a take-home course to suit you rather than pushing through it.
Typically one to two years, depending on coffee, tea, red wine and smoking. Take-home trays make a refresh easy: a night or two once or twice a year is usually enough to hold the shade.
No. Whitening gel only lifts natural enamel. If your smile mixes natural teeth with older restorations, we whiten first, let the shade settle, and then match any new work to it.
You can, and we will talk you out of it. There is a point where teeth stop reading as teeth. We aim for the brightest shade that still looks like health on your face, and for most people that is a step or two short of the maximum.
