A Careful Defense From The First Phone Call
An arrest sets many clocks running at once: bond, arraignment, license deadlines and sometimes a job on the line. We help clients understand each deadline, protect their rights in every conversation with police or prosecutors, and prepare the file thoroughly from the start.
We handle misdemeanors, felonies, probation matters and record restriction in Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb and Gwinnett counties. Every client receives a written calendar of court dates and a direct number for questions.
How We Approach It
We meet quickly, often the same or next day, and review the charging documents together. Before any plea is discussed, we request the evidence, visit the scene when useful and explain each option with its likely consequences.
When To Call Us
Call before speaking with investigators, before a first court date, or as soon as you learn of a warrant. Anything said early can shape the whole case, and some rights must be asserted within days.
Family members are welcome to call on behalf of someone who is detained. We will explain what they can and cannot share, and how to help without harming the case.
Many clients worry that hiring a lawyer makes them look guilty. It does not. It means someone is reading the reports, checking the timeline and making sure the court hears your side. We also help with the practical fallout of a charge, from work schedules and licence questions to explaining the process to family members who want to help. We will also tell you honestly when a case is better resolved quickly, and when it is worth waiting for more information.
