David Okafor joined Vestra in 2013 after six years managing rental portfolios across Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. He knows what a roof replacement, a vacancy month or a slow tenant turnover does to a cash-flow sheet, and he brings that view to every investor he works with.
As managing broker he reads every purchase contract, inspection addendum and lease the office produces, and he keeps the closing calendar so that no buyer finds out about a missing document the night before. Agents bring him the hard files: the duplex with an unpermitted conversion, the estate sale with a tenant in place, the condo with a pending special assessment.
David also leads the rental management team, which looks after detached rental homes and small multi-unit buildings for owners who live elsewhere. He grew up in Brandon, coaches a youth soccer team on Saturdays and can tell you which Seminole Heights blocks flood after an afternoon storm.
