Aromatic Oil Massage

A flowing massage paired with a plant oil blend you choose by scent on arrival: bright and clearing, soft and floral, or deep and grounding.

Length: 60 or 90 minFrom $94

What happens in Aromatic Oil Massage

Scent can change how a room feels in a single breath, which is why this session starts at our blending shelf. You smell three small cups and pick the one that feels right today, and your therapist mixes it into warm carrier oil.

The massage itself follows a flowing rhythm similar to Swedish Flow, with extra time over the chest, shoulders and neck where the aroma is easiest to notice. A warm compress over the upper back seals it in.

Our blends are simple and plant based. We keep them mild, and a scent-free version is always available for guests who are sensitive or simply prefer none.

Many people leave with the blend name written on a card so they can ask for it again next time.

On quieter afternoons we also offer the session with a warm scalp oil finish, which pairs well with the chosen blend. Ask at the desk if you would like it added; it adds about ten minutes and keeps the rhythm of the hour unhurried.

Common questions

What blends can I choose from?

Usually a citrus and mint blend, a lavender and geranium blend, and a cedar and vetiver blend. The shelf rotates with the seasons.

Can I bring my own oil?

We prefer to use our own so we know how it was stored, but tell us about a favourite scent and we will try to match it.

Is it OK if I am sensitive to fragrance?

Yes. Choose the unscented option and the session is identical in every other way.

Is aromatic massage suitable in pregnancy?

Some oils are not recommended in pregnancy. Please mention it when you book and we will suggest a suitable session instead.

Will the scent linger on my clothes?

Lightly. We offer a warm towel wipe before you dress if you are heading straight back to work.

Before you arrive

If you are sensitive to fragrance or have allergies to plants, nuts or essential oils, mention it when you book and we will use the unscented base. Skip perfume on the day so the blend can come through clearly. The oils are mild, but a warm towel wipe is always available before you dress. If you have a favourite scent at home, bring the name along and we will try to build something close to it.
