Slow, focused pressure for the places that have been tight for months. Built for runners, lifters, gardeners and long-haul desk workers.
Deep Muscle Release is slower than most people expect. Instead of pushing hard everywhere, your therapist works layer by layer into one or two regions, waiting for tissue to soften before going further.
We usually spend the first minutes mapping where things feel stuck, then combine sustained pressure, cross-fibre strokes and assisted stretches around those spots. You set the intensity; a firm session should feel productive, never like something to endure.
Because the work is concentrated, the rest of the body still gets a lighter pass so you do not leave feeling lopsided. A warm towel wrap closes the session.
Expect some tenderness the next day, similar to a good workout. Water, a walk and an early night help it pass quickly.
Many regulars book a short series, three or four sessions a few weeks apart, so each visit can build on the last. Your therapist keeps notes on what shifted and what still needs time, which makes the next hour more useful.
A quick range-of-motion check to find where to spend time.
Slow pressure and stretches, adjusted to your feedback.
A lighter full-body pass, then aftercare tips to take home.
This session is for bodies that work hard or sit still for too long. It is focused, slower than people expect and always adjusted to your feedback, so strong never has to mean unpleasant.
It should feel strong but manageable. We use a simple one to ten scale and aim to stay around six or seven. Tell us any time you want it lighter.
A day after a hard session is ideal. Right after very intense training, a gentler Swedish Flow is usually kinder to the body.
We can work around areas you point out. For anything recent or unexplained, please check with your doctor first, since massage is not a medical treatment.
Choose 90 if you have more than two problem areas or want time for stretches. Sixty works well for a single focus such as neck and shoulders.
Drink water, move gently and skip the heavy lifting for the rest of the day. A warm bath in the evening feels wonderful.
Drink water through the day before your visit and try to avoid a hard workout in the four hours beforehand. Tell us about any old injuries, recent surgery or medication that affects bruising, since focused pressure is not right for everyone. Plan a gentle evening afterwards; a walk and an early night help the work settle.
