New Moon Ritual

An evening ritual of guided breathing, a sound bath with brass bowls and a slow energy-work session under warm blankets.

Length: 2 hoursFrom $185

What happens in New Moon Ritual

The New Moon Ritual is our quietest offering. It runs in the evening, when the centre is calm and the lights are low, and moves through three parts that each ask a little less of you than the last.

It opens with twenty minutes of guided breathing and a short intention-setting practice with one of our meditation guides. Next comes a sound bath: you lie on a padded mat while brass bowls are played around the room.

The final hour is a hands-on energy-work session with light touch and long holds, finished with a warm neck pillow and a cup of herbal tea.

No experience with meditation is needed. Guests describe it as a long exhale at the end of a heavy week.

We cap the evening at four guests per session so the room stays quiet, and private bookings for one or two people are available most weeknights.

Common questions

Do I need to meditate already?

No. The breathing practice is guided line by line and you can simply rest if you prefer.

What happens in the sound bath?

You lie comfortably while a practitioner plays brass bowls at different distances. Many people drift into a light doze, which is completely fine.

What is energy work?

A light-touch practice with slow, still holds on the shoulders, head and feet. We offer it for relaxation only; it is not a medical treatment.

Is the ritual only on new moon dates?

The name is a nod to fresh starts. You can book it any evening we have availability.

What should I wear?

Soft, comfortable clothes. You stay dressed throughout and we provide blankets and eye pillows.

Who it suits best

The New Moon Ritual is for the end of a long week, or a long season. It asks nothing of you except to lie down, breathe and let the evening slow everything else down.

  • People who find it hard to switch off at night
  • Guests curious about sound baths and energy work
  • Anyone marking a fresh start or a new chapter
  • Pairs who want a quiet evening together
