Smooth basalt stones are warmed in water and used two ways: resting along the spine and in the palms, and held in the therapist’s hands as an extension of the massage itself. The heat does a lot of the early work, so the pressure can stay moderate and still reach deep.
This is our slowest, most enveloping treatment, and it is at its best on cold days or after a long stretch of stress. Every stone is cleaned and reheated between guests, and the temperature is checked by hand before it touches you. If anything ever feels too hot, it comes off right away.
Because warmth relaxes the tissue quickly, many guests who normally ask for deep pressure find they need less of it here. The session finishes with the stones removed and a few minutes of plain hand massage so your skin can cool gradually.
We keep the treatment room a little warmer for this session and bring a fresh towel for your face. Afterward, sip water, skip the sauna for the rest of the day and enjoy how loose your shoulders feel on the drive home.
Especially good for:

We confirm your comfort with heat and set the stones at a gentle temperature.
Warm stones rest along the back and in the palms while the therapist works the legs.
Stones glide along the back, shoulders and legs with slow, even pressure.
Hands-only massage and a warm towel finish so you leave calm rather than flushed.
Timings are a guide and shift to suit you.

I booked the basalt stone session on a freezing Tuesday and walked out warm to my fingertips. Ines checked in just enough, then let me drift.

First visit
I was nervous about my first massage. They explained everything, gave me a pressure scale and never made me feel awkward. Second visit already booked.

Monthly member
The only facial I have had where nobody tried to sell me ten products afterward. My skin felt calm for a week and the routine fit on a sticky note.

Deep tissue work for a stubborn desk shoulder. Daniel went slowly, asked about my breathing, and the difference the next morning was real.

Couples visit
We did the thermal circuit together before our anniversary dinner. Quiet, spotless and unhurried, and phones in lockers helped more than expected.

The salt scrub and wrap is my end of winter tradition now. I fall asleep during the scalp massage every single time and nobody minds.
Warm, not hot. Every stone is tested by hand before use and removed immediately if you would like it cooler.
We do not offer basalt stone work during pregnancy. Our Swedish session with side-lying support is a better fit.
The stones need time to do their work, and we include a slower cool-down so you do not leave overheated.
Yes. Your therapist can add firmer hand work between stone passes.
