This is the treatment for skin that feels rough, dry or just neglected. A fine mineral salt scrub blended with oil polishes from shoulders to feet, then you are wrapped in warm linen while a nourishing mask settles in and your therapist massages your scalp.
After a warm rinse in our private shower, we finish with a rich body balm pressed in with long strokes. The result is skin that feels smooth and comfortable for days, and a very sleepy guest. Pick your blend: plain sea salt and almond oil, rosemary and mint for a fresher feel, or oat and honey for sensitive skin.
It pairs beautifully with a 30 minute massage add-on or a steam session beforehand, which softens the skin and makes the scrub even more pleasant. We suggest avoiding shaving or waxing for a day before your visit.
Afterward, your skin will feel best with loose, soft clothing and a lukewarm shower rather than a hot one. Leave the balm to absorb overnight and moisturize daily for the rest of the week to keep the smoothness going. Many guests book this at the change of each season, especially before summer when skin is on show again, or at the end of winter when heating has left it dry and tight. If you would like to share the visit, we can run two scrubs side by side in our double room, and the warm wrap stage is a lovely time to chat quietly or simply doze together.
Especially good for:
Choose from three scrub blends and let us know about any sensitive areas.
Full body exfoliation in slow circular strokes, section by section.
Wrapped in warm linen with a nourishing mask and a scalp massage.
Private shower, then a rich balm massaged in from shoulders to feet.
Timings are a guide and shift to suit you.
Please wait at least a day after shaving or waxing so the salt does not sting.
You can wear disposable underwear, which we provide. You stay draped throughout.
Most guests notice softer skin for several days, longer if they moisturize daily.
Yes. The oat and honey blend is our gentlest choice.
Yes, ideally a day or two before. A scrub straight after a tan will lift the color, so if you already have one, wait about a week or choose a massage instead.
