Our approach
Routines Built Around Each Person
Getting to Know You
Families share life stories, favourite music and daily habits so we can build a day that feels familiar.
Consistent Staff
The same small team works in the wing each day, so residents see faces they know.
Gentle, Patient Help
Support with meals, dressing and personal care at an unhurried pace.
Meaningful Moments
Music, gardening, baking and reminiscence groups woven through the week.
Dad was anxious and lost at home. At Alder Grove he has a routine again, he hums along at music group, and the staff always tell us how his day went.

A Wing Designed for Calm
Our memory care support wing has its own entrance, lounge, dining room and walled garden, with soft lighting, clear sightlines and colour cues that help residents find their way.
Doors to the garden stay open in good weather, so residents can walk, sit in the sun or help with the raised beds whenever they like.

Daily life
A Day Shaped Around Each Resident
Mornings start slowly, with breakfast served as residents wake. Late mornings bring music, light exercise or a walk in the garden, and afternoons are for small groups, a rest or a visit from family.
Meals are served family style at small tables, with staff sitting alongside residents to encourage and help. Finger foods and favourite snacks are always on hand between meals.

Our team
Trained Staff Who Truly Know Residents
Every caregiver in the wing completes our memory care training before their first shift and refreshes it each year, covering communication, comfort and responding calmly to changes in mood.
A registered nurse oversees each support plan and meets with families regularly.

Families
Staying Close as a Family
Families are always welcome, and we encourage visits at mealtimes and during activities. Our family support group meets monthly, with guest speakers, practical advice and time to share with others walking the same road.
You will receive regular updates from the care team, and you can call the wing directly at any time.

Support That Families Can See
Our memory care support wing is small by design, with sixteen private suites around one garden, so staff and families get to know each other well.

Words From Residents
Hear it from the people who live and visit here
I came for six weeks after my knee surgery and stayed for the people.

The staff remember how Dad takes his coffee. That small thing means a lot.

I still cook my own breakfast, and someone checks in every single day.

Mum looks forward to the Tuesday garden club more than anything else.

Moving here was easier than I feared. My room felt like mine in a week.

The pool class is the best hour of my week, and I never thought I would swim again.
