Our Commitments
Clear, honest communication with residents and families, always.
Keeping Families Informed and Involved
When something does not go as planned, residents and families hear it from us first, in plain words. This commitment sits alongside the resident rights protected by Oregon law and our own standards.

Honesty Comes First
If an incident happens, or could have happened, we talk with you about it promptly. We explain what we know, apologise where we should, and tell you what we are changing. These conversations are about learning, never about blame, and they never affect your rights or your care.
We learn about concerns through
- Conversations with residents, families and representatives
- Reports from staff through our internal process
- Our quarterly quality reviews
- Feedback from state surveyors and ombudsman visits

Questions about raising a concern
How to reach us, and what happens next.
Start with the community director or the care lead on duty. If you would rather speak to someone outside the community, call our main office and ask for the quality lead.
We acknowledge every concern within one business day and aim to share what we found and what we are doing within ten business days.
Yes. You can leave a note in the comment box at each reception desk or call our main office without giving your name.
Never. Retaliation of any kind is against our policy and against the law, and every staff member is trained on this.
Yes. The long-term care ombudsman in Oregon offers free, confidential help, and we post their contact details in every community.
We share a summary of themes and changes at our resident council meetings and in our annual community report.
