For caregivers

Time to Rest and Recharge

Caring for someone at home is rewarding and tiring. A respite stay gives you time to rest, travel, attend to your own health or simply catch up on sleep, knowing your loved one is comfortable and well looked after.

Families often book respite for:

  • A planned holiday or family event
  • Recovery from the caregiver’s own surgery
  • A regular break every few months

For guests

A Stay That Feels Like a Holiday

Guests settle into a furnished suite with fresh linen, a private bathroom and a call pendant. They join meals in the dining room, take part in any activity they like and meet residents who are happy to show them around. Visitors are welcome at any time, and our team sends a short note home every few days so caregivers can rest easy.

Our team learns each guest’s routines before arrival so the first evening feels easy.

A Gentle Way to Explore Community Life

A short stay is a low-pressure way to see whether community living suits you. Many guests discover they enjoy the company and the meals more than they expected, and some decide to stay on. Others simply return each year for a planned break, already knowing the staff and the routine.

If you move in after a respite stay, we credit part of your stay toward the community fee.
