The day of the visit
Bring these, skip those.
Please bring
- Medications and supplements, or photos of the labels
- A fresh stool sample if your pet is due a parasite check
- Cats in a carrier, covered with a towel
- Dogs on a short leash, not a retractable one
- Your list of questions, however long
No need to bring
- Paper records, if we already requested them
- Your insurance paperwork. We can look it up later
- A full stomach. A hungry pet takes treats better
- Apologies. Barking, hissing and accidents are normal here
- Worry about the bill. You see the price first
How soon can a new client be seen?
Usually within a week for a wellness visit. If your pet is unwell, call and we will fit you into a same-day slot during open hours, new client or not.
Do you need my pet's old records before the first visit?
They help, but they are not required. Give us the name of your previous clinic and we will request the records for you, usually within a couple of days.
How much is a first visit?
A first wellness exam is $68 (illustrative). It runs about 50 minutes so we can go through history. Anything beyond the exam is priced on paper first.
Can I bring two pets to the same appointment?
Yes. Tell us when you book so we hold enough time. Dogs and cats from the same home can share a room if they are comfortable together.
