Andre Coleman has worked in senior care for nineteen years, first as a floor nurse in a rehabilitation unit and later as a care manager for a home health agency. He joined Willowmere in 2017 and now leads a care team of nurses, medication aides and resident care assistants across every neighborhood on campus.
His day starts with the overnight report and a walk through the assisted living and memory care wings. He reviews every care plan at least once a season, and sooner if a resident's needs change. Families tell us he is the person who explains things twice without ever hurrying them.
Andre also coordinates with residents' own physicians, pharmacies and visiting therapists, so that appointments, prescriptions and follow-up instructions land in one place instead of five.
