The people of Willowmere
The nurses, caregivers, cooks and planners who keep Willowmere running, many of them for years. These are the people residents and families see most.

Dining and life enrichment
What our team promises
Taught before the first shift
Every caregiver learns the care plan process, mobility support and memory care basics before working a shift on the floor.
Familiar faces on every wing
Caregivers are assigned to one neighborhood so residents see the same people day after day.
Shift notes passed in person
At each shift change the outgoing caregiver walks the incoming one through every resident's day.
Cooks who learn your name
The dining team keeps a card for every resident: favourite dishes, dislikes and how they take their tea.
A calendar built from requests
Anjali Mehta's team adds classes and outings that residents ask for at the monthly council meeting.
An open door on Fridays
Claire Whitfield keeps Friday afternoons free for anyone, resident, family or staff, who wants to talk.
Families on our staff
What families notice about the people who work here.

Andre called me after Mom's first night to say she had slept well and asked for seconds at breakfast. I had not expected the call, and I have never forgotten it.
Marisol knows my father's old job, his dog's name and the hymns he likes. When I visit, the staff talk to him like they know him, because they do.
Chef Thomas made my aunt's pound cake recipe for her birthday supper. Twelve of us came, and she told everyone it was better than hers.
