Where to find Marisol
- Memory care neighborhood, garden side
Marisol Vega began her career as a nursing assistant on a memory care floor and never wanted to work anywhere else. She joined Willowmere in 2015 and became Memory Support Coordinator when the neighborhood expanded in 2019.
Before a resident moves in she sits down with the family to build a life story: the jobs they held, the songs they know by heart, how they take their tea, what time they like to wake up. That story shapes the daily plan, and she updates it whenever a family member remembers something new.
Marisol also hosts a family education evening every other month, where relatives can ask questions about memory loss, visiting and changes they are noticing at home.
