Cats rarely show you when something is wrong
Cats are very good at hiding illness, which is why kidney and thyroid changes are often found late. The adult cat plan pairs two exams with yearly blood and urine screening, so the doctor has numbers to compare from one year to the next. Visits are booked in our cat-only room at quiet times of day.
How the year is scheduled
Before each visit we send a short carrier guide: leave it out for a week, line it with something that smells like home and cover it in the car. In the room, the doctor examines your cat wherever it is most comfortable, often in the bottom half of the carrier, and the technician collects samples with as little handling as possible.

The fee covers two exams, a yearly blood panel and urinalysis, the boosters your cat's lifestyle calls for and a dental check at each exam. Dental cleanings, medication and illness visits are billed separately at the member rate.
