A calm first year for a new kitten, with boosters and checkups booked ahead

Small kittens, a lot of firsts
Most kittens arrive at their first visit in a borrowed carrier with no medical history at all. The kitten plan starts with a full exam, a combined feline leukemia and FIV test and the first booster, then books the rest of the series in quiet morning slots when the waiting room is calm. We show you how to get your kitten used to the carrier at home so later visits are easier for everyone.
How the year is scheduled
Visits use our cat-only exam room, with a towel from home if you bring one. The doctor checks eyes, ears, heart, teeth and belly at each exam. Boosters are spaced three to four weeks apart, and we talk about spay or neuter timing, litter box habits, scratching and play at the third visit.
